Black Song
I die and I rise, all in light,
A soul, torn apart, nothing like,
I am creator during daylight;
Destroyer in the dark of night.
When I call the elements of day, in their timid light,
Storms rise above the darkened sky,
And when I seek the storm - numb
All cries and sounds die.
I crave for the dawn, in fire and light,
Until and when my eyes go blind,
In spring for the fall I dream,
And in the fall I blossom like spring.
In the wild passionless time run
A life never lived fades dim
And my cry for a harbor lies dead
Blown over a desert, by the wind.
